Ayat Kursi read in Russian. Ayat al-Kursi and the benefits of reading it. Reading the verse "al-Kursi" after the obligatory prayers

One of the most frequently repeated and famous verses of the Final Revelation of the Almighty is “Ayatul-Kursi” (or verse “al-Kursi” - “Ayat of the Throne”). It is given in the second sura of the Book of Allah - “Al-Baqarah” (“The Cow”) under number 255.

It is reported from Abu Hurayrah (ra) that the Messenger of the Lord Muhammad (s.g.w.) admonished his ummah: “Truly, everything has a peak, and Surah “Bakara” is the peak of the Koran. And in this surah there is an verse that is the master of all the verses of the Koran - Ayatul-Kursi” (transmitted in the collections of Hakim and at-Tirmidhi).

Translation of meaning: Allah - there is no god but Him, and we should worship Him only. Allah is Alive, Existing and preserves the existence of all people. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overwhelms him; He alone owns what is in the heavens and on earth; and He has no equal. Who will intercede for another before Him without His permission? Allah - glory to Him Almighty! - knows everything that has happened and what will happen. No one can comprehend anything from His wisdom and knowledge except what He allows. The Throne of Allah, His knowledge and His power are greater than the heavens and the earth, and His protection of them does not burden Him. Truly, He is the Most High, the One and the Great!

Many hadiths are devoted to the significance and greatness of this verse. Some of them are reliable, but there are also weak ones (in other words, there is a loss or questionable transmitters in the chain of transmitters).

For example, it is reported that if a believer says to himself the verse “al-Kursi” after completing the obligatory prayers before saying the tasbih (33 times each of “SubhanAllah”, “Alhamdulillah” and “Allahu Akbar!”), then after death nothing will prevent him from getting to Paradise.

It is also known that the fourth righteous caliph Ali (ra) said: “I do not understand those who, when going to bed, do not read the Ayat of the Throne.” According to him, if a person realized the degree of greatness of this verse, he would never neglect to read it, because this fragment of the Noble Quran was revealed to the Final Messenger of God (s.g.v.) from Arsh itself.

It is believed that reading “Ayat al-Kursi” helps to overcome the shaitan and rid the home of him. You can learn this dua by repeating the Koran-hafiz on our video, which also provides a transcription in Russian letters:

No one has any doubts or disagreements about the importance of constantly quoting Ayatul-Kursi. The reason is simple: the highest qualities inherent only to Him are very often mentioned here: Hayu (Eternally living, He who has neither beginning nor end); Qayyum (Existing, Independent of anyone or anything, not needing anyone or anything); Aliyu (Highest, Highly Honored); Azyimu (The Greatest).

In addition, the verse “al-Kursi” provides such signs of the Creator as:

  • Vahdaniyat (Unity): “Allah - there is no god but Him...”;
  • Geylm (Possession of knowledge): “...knows everything that was and what will be. No one can comprehend anything from His wisdom and knowledge except what He allows”;
  • Malik (sovereignty): “He alone owns what is in the heavens and on the earth; and He has no equal...";
  • Qudrat (Power): “The Throne of Allah, His knowledge and His power are broader than the heavens and the earth, and His protection of them does not burden Him”;
  • Irada (Will): “Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him,” “no one can comprehend anything from His wisdom and knowledge except what He allows” (2:255).

This passage from Surah Baqarah has this name because of the word “Kursi” mentioned in it. Theologians have given it different interpretations. Hassan Basri believed that this refers to the Arsh (Throne) of the Lord of the Worlds. Ibn Kathir assured that “kursi” does not simply mean Arsh, but it is something more than a throne. Abdullah ibn Abbas (ra), in turn, emphasized: “Kursi” means gyylm (knowledge) of our Creator.

8 verses to read against the evil eye

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The evil eye drives a man into a grave, and a camel into a cauldron.”

Verily, the disbelievers are ready to cast down you with their glances when they hear edification, and exclaim: “Truly, He is possessed!” But nothing less than an instruction for the inhabitants of the worlds” (68:51-52).

In the hadith, from the words of Ibn ‘Abbas, it is reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) pronounced the following du’a for his grandchildren Hassan and Husayn:

In the perfect words of Allah, I hope for His help for both of you from Satan, pests and sinful eyes. (Bukhari)

The following du'as are also offered as protection against the evil eye:

O Allah! Bless him and do not harm him.

This is the will of Allah, there is no security and strength except with Allah. Verily, Allah is the best of creators, He is Blessed and Great. O Allah, bless him and give him prosperity.

In the hadith, from the words of ‘Umm Salama, it is narrated that one day the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw a girl with a yellowed face and said: “Read the lapel du’a to her, she has been jinxed” (Bukhari, Muslim).

From the words of Abu Huraira (ra) it is reported that our mother ‘A’isha said: “The Messenger of Allah advised me to pronounce du’a against the evil eye.”

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said about the verses that prevent and eliminate the evil eye: “In the Holy Qur'an there are 8 verses against the evil eye that should be read. Anyone who constantly reads them will not be subject to any evil eye. Seven of the eight verses are the verses of Surah Al-Fatiha and the eighth is the verse of Al-Kursi. No matter in which house Surah Al-Fatihah and Ayat Al-Kursi are read, its inhabitants will not be touched by the evil eye of spirits and jinn.”

Surah al-Fatiha.

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful! Praise be to Allah - the Lord of the worlds, the Gracious, the Merciful, the ruler of the day of Judgment! We worship You and cry to You for help: lead us on the straight path, the path of those whom You have blessed, not those who are wrathful, and not those who are lost. (1:1-7)

Ayat Al-Kursi.

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Ever-Existing. Neither drowsiness nor sleep has power over Him. To Him belongs what is in heaven and what is on earth. Who will intercede before Him without His permission? He knows what happened before people and what will happen after them. People comprehend from His knowledge only what He wills. Heaven and earth are subject to Him, It is not a burden for Him to protect them. He is the Most High, the Great. (2:255)

Allah Almighty says the following about the angels Harut and Marut: “And they followed what the devils taught in the kingdom of Suleiman. Suleiman was not an unbeliever, the devils were unbelievers, and they taught people witchcraft, as well as what was revealed to two angels in Babylon - Harut and Marut.

In the modern world, not only among Muslims, in the first place, besides faith, is success and money. Many people dream of a friendly family, relaxation, and prosperity. Some people manage to achieve what they want. But very often success leads to envy.

Unfriendly neighbors, colleagues, acquaintances may be opposed to you. They either openly express their dissatisfaction or stare after you with anger. All this leaves an imprint on life, and things are no longer going so well. The evil eye and damage are consequences of envy, and you need to fight them. There are many prayers and conspiracies that will help cope with the problem.

The evil eye and damage can arise as consequences of envy

The best way to combat corruption is a righteous life

But even if you suffered because of the envy of your acquaintances, you cannot be angry with them, accuse them of something, and especially punish them. First of all, you need to analyze your life. Muslims know that any damage can be caused only if Allah himself has allowed it. Nothing happens on earth unless it was His will. You yourself probably did something wrong, made a mistake in something. If this is so, you need to ask Allah for help.

It is also necessary to comply with all the requirements of Islam. This is the best protection against the influence of magic, witchcraft and evil people, damage. There are several rules obligatory for a Muslim:

  1. It is necessary to read prayer
  2. Giving zakat is a donation for the poor
  3. Fasting during the month of Ramadan
  4. Repeat the words of dhikr (these are words that glorify Allah)

If it so happens that removing the damage is necessary, this can be done using the Holy Book of Muslims.

To avoid the evil eye, you must follow all the rules of Islam.

What you need to know before removing damage

There are Muslim prayers that can get rid of damage and the evil eye. They cope well with any negativity. But Muslim magic requires compliance with a number of rules.

  1. Only people of this faith can take advantage of the power of Muslim prayers against the evil eye and the negative effects of damage. Christians must find other ways of purification.
  2. You need sincere faith that prayers against damage will help
  3. You can read suras of the Koran only at night. Early morning, immediately after sunrise, is the time of Satan, witchcraft. But you can turn to Allah after noon. The best time is evening, at sunset. Then the Almighty is not as busy as during the day and can listen to requests.
  4. The most appropriate time to remove damage and the evil eye is Friday. This is the best day to ask the Prophet for the fulfillment of a wish.
  5. It’s good if the person reading the prayers falls into a meditative trance. Then the removal of damage occurs much faster. But achieving this state is not so easy.
  6. You need to read suras against corruption only in Arabic, using the text of the Koran

Prayers to help against the evil eye and damage

One of the main books of Islam is the Koran. It is on it that all religious rituals are based. The holy book can get rid of any negativity if its suras are used correctly.

Usually people involved in removing damage begin the ritual by reading the very first sura of the Holy Book, which is called “Al-Fatiha”. After it, you can start reading Surah 36 “Ya-sin”. It is quite voluminous, containing 83 verses. It takes approximately 15 minutes to read. This surah has enormous power; the Prophet himself said that it is the heart of the Koran. You can end with Surah An-Nas. It is best to purchase the Koran and take all the necessary prayers from it.

A person who wants to get rid of damage, as well as his loved ones who want to help, must definitely read Surah Al-Baqarah. The prophet himself advised it to those who are tormented by evil spirits or who are trying to tempt the shaitan. He said that the sorcerer would never be able to read this surah. It is in it that one of the greatest verses “Ayatul-Kursi” is contained. No jinn or shaitan can tolerate the words of this verse. It perfectly heals from damage and prevents evil spirits from entering the house.

A person who has been damaged must read Surah Al-Baqarah

Also one of the most effective means is the end of the sura “The Believers” (Al-Mu’minun). Her strength is legendary. If a believer reads it next to a mountain, it will split and a spring will emerge from its depths. You can also read Al-Falaq and Al-Ikhlas.

Prayers to protect a child from the evil eye

Children are especially vulnerable and often suffer from the evil eye. Muslims, like any parents, fear that their child may be jinxed. This is especially true for newborns. To protect a child from the evil eye, the suras of the holy book are also read: the first, last, 112 and 113.

To protect a child from the evil eye, suras are read

The very first surah or “Al-Fatiha” or “Opening”. One of the greatest surahs of Islam that will protect your child too.

“Bismillahi l rrahmani rrahim Alhamdu lillahi rabbil alamin. Arrahmani rrahim. Maliki yau middin., Iyyaka nabudu wa iyyaka nastain, Ikhdina l sirata l mustaqim Sirata l azin anamtu alaihim gairil l magzubi alaihim wa la ddallin.”

The last sura is “An-Nas” or “People”. All nights before going to bed, the Prophet himself read the three final suras from the Koran, among which was “An-Nas” (also “Al-Ikhlyas” and “Al-Falyak”). Then he wiped his entire body with his palms 3 times, from head to feet. This helped protect a person from bad things, including witchcraft, until morning.

“Bismillahi l rrakhmani rrakhim Kul auz birabbi l nnas Maliki nnas Ilahi nnas Min sharri waswasi l hannas Allyazi yuvasvisu fisuduuri nnas Mina al jinnati wa nnas.”

112 surah “Al-Ikhlas” (Sincerity) The Messenger of Allah once said that this surah in its significance is equal to a whole third of the entire Holy Book, despite its small size.

“Bismillahi l rrahmani rrahim Kulhu in Allahu ahad Allahu samad Lam yalid wa lam yulad Wa lam yakun Allahu, kufuwan ahad.”

113 sura “Al-Falyak” “Dawn” The Prophet Muhammad said that the best words spoken by those who seek protection from Allah are the last suras of the Koran - “Al-Falyak” and “An-Nas”. They can also protect others and genies from the evil eye. When these suras were presented to the Prophet, he began to recite them, forgetting about other prayers for protection. Therefore, parents who are worried about their child can use these prayers.

“Bismillahi l rahmani rrahim Kul auz birahbi l falak. Min shari mahalak Wa min shari gasikin isa va kab Wa min shari l nnaffasati fi l ukad. Va min shari hasidin iza hasad.”

What is Dua? How to use Dua against damage and the evil eye, so that no negative impact can harm you - we will talk about this in this material.

What is Dua

The concept of “Dua” came to us from Islam, where it is a direct appeal to Allah. In fact, this is an ordinary prayer, but not the usual Christian prayer, but that of supporters of another religious movement. But there are certain differences between Orthodox prayers and Dua, which are as follows:

  1. Dua cannot be used by non-believers or sinners who do not adhere to the norms of the Koran.
  2. Each sura (that is, Dua) has its own meaning and is used for a specific case. For example, you will not be able to use dua against damage to restore your lost health.
  3. The pronunciation of Islamic prayer can be carried out exclusively in Arabic, and the words are always memorized. It is permissible to repeat the sacred text not out loud, but mentally.
  4. You cannot use surahs for fun - you must first make sure that prayer is really necessary for you now.

Whatever Dua you choose, the initial surah of the Quran, Al-Fatihah, is always recited first. Its name can be translated as “opening the book.”

Its text is as follows:

This surah simultaneously expresses gratitude to the Almighty for his help and generosity, and also expresses a person’s prayer to guide him on the true path. In addition, the first Dua helps to tune in with the flow of Divine energy to fulfill your desires.

After reading the opening sura, you can begin to pronounce suras intended to solve various problems. Next we will give examples of sacred texts, with the help of which it becomes possible to eliminate any negative impact from the human energy plan.

Dua against damage and the evil eye

The Qur'an is the holy scripture of righteous Muslims. Every self-respecting believer in Islam is obliged to know it from beginning to end. The Koran itself provides a very powerful protection against evil in the global sense of the word. For this reason, many people who profess Islam believe that there is no need to say any auxiliary prayers against the evil eye for a person who sincerely prays and strictly adheres to all the commandments outlined in the Koran.

But, despite this, pronunciation of the Koran does not provide a 100% guarantee of the impossibility of encountering a negative energy message and suffering from destructive effects.

So, for example, if we turn to Surah Al-falyak, then in it we will find a story about how Allah teaches the prophet Muhammad to save people from the damage that the Jew Labid brought upon him, using eleven tied knots that were attached to the bow string .

And the sura called “Yusuf” already tells how Mohamed trained the adherents of Islam (the spouses of Aisha and Yakub), he told them about the existence of the evil eye and advised them to recite verses (verses recorded in the Koran), as well as to use protective amulets.

If you find signs of a negative impact on yourself or on your baby, and your guesses were confirmed by clairvoyants (the main thing is that they are real and do not name specific amounts for the assistance provided), it is worth reading special Duas for damage and the evil eye.

Sacred texts against corruption and the evil eye in Islam

By studying the Koran, every believer learns that there are only 3 fundamental prayers of protection from evil caused by enemies, namely:

  • Surah Al-Ikhlas;
  • "Al-Falaq";
  • "An-Nas."

They are pronounced complexly, one after the other. Let us give examples of sacred texts.

Surah Al-Ikhlyas (it asks for sincerity). Its text is:

By turning to this Dua, the worshiper asks the Almighty to protect himself, as well as his family and friends, from any negativity, from various temptations, evil spirits, jinn and enemies.

Surah Al-Falyak is represented by the following words:

And Surah An-Nas is pronounced like this:

If you believe what is written in the Koran, then Muhammad regularly pronounced the Duas described above every day, before going to bed. After that, he used his palms to rub his entire body from head to feet. It was thanks to this ritual that the prophet remained inviolable and inaccessible to the action of evil spirits until morning.

Prayer against the evil eye for kids

In very frequent situations, Islamic women recite the hundredth sura of the Koran, called “Al-Adiyat,” over the cribs of their children. Traditionally, it allows you to protect your child from bad energy.

The sura is represented by eleven verses. If you translate the text according to the words, you will get the following analogy in Russian:

How to use Dua for evil eye

To ensure the high effectiveness of suras against destructive energy, you should follow some recommendations for reading them.

  • First of all, you need to be 100% sure that you really have the evil eye. Do not take minor troubles into account; they are probably sent from above to strengthen your spirit. But if you regularly encounter continuous failures in all areas of life that do not end, this indicates the presence of damage.
  • You should turn to the Higher Powers for help not in the morning (as is customary in the Orthodox religion), but at night, when the sun disappears below the horizon. The reading of the prayer should be completed before sunrise. This is due to the fact that the Almighty cannot hear appeals to him during the day and therefore does not provide his help to a person.
  • It is necessary for the person who has been negatively affected to read the dua against damage or the evil eye. If the patient is so exhausted that he is unable to complete this, the mission can be entrusted to an older person in your family. At the end of the prayer, he should blow on the face of the sick person.
  • It is best to recite suras in the desert. But at this point in time, not many Muslims can afford this. Therefore, it is permissible to recite suras in your home, but always in complete solitude. Provide complete isolation from outside sounds.
  • Sacred texts are not translated. They are read exclusively in the original (you can use Russian transcription for convenience).
  • When you make a request to the Almighty, hold the Koran in your hands.
  • During healing from damage, drinking alcohol and smoking tobacco is prohibited.
  • It is important to get rid of lustful and depraved thoughts.
  • The most successful day for pronouncing surahs is Friday.
  • Do not under any circumstances change the sequence of suras against damage and the evil eye. Start expelling corruption from the first sura of the Koran, and complete this process with the one hundred and fourteenth. It is allowed to insert the thirty-sixth sura in the middle, but only for those cases when there is a very strong negative impact.
  • One day (or, more precisely, night) is not enough to eliminate damage or the evil eye; the ritual must be repeated for seven days.
  • If possible, involve all the people who wish you well in the reading of the dua.

To feel more confident when reciting the texts of Islamic prayers, we advise you to watch the following video. In it, believers recite the sacred Surahs, and you can learn from them the technique of reading Dua. May Allah be with you!

Hazrat Babafariduddin Janj (Rahmatullah alayh) reported that

When Ayatul-Kursi was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Angel Jibraeel (PBUH), surrounded by 70 thousand angels, conveyed this verse, saying that the one who sincerely reads it will receive a reward like 70 years service to the Almighty. The Great Caliph of Islam "Ali (rady to Allah anhu) said:

I cannot understand those Muslims who do not read Ayatul-Kursi before going to bed. If you only knew how great this verse is, you would never neglect reading Ayatul-Kursi, because it was given to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from the treasuries of Al-Arsh. Ayatul-Kursi was not revealed to any of the Prophets before the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). And I never go to bed without first reading Ayatul-Kursi.

Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad:

Every day two angels accompany a person. One of them often repeats: O Allah! I will increase the prosperity of those who spend their property on sadaka for the poor and on other noble deeds! Another angel says: O Allah! Deprive the one who keeps his wealth only for himself!

Ayat “Al-Kursi” is a special verse of the Holy Quran, which has not only deep meaning, but also the power of mystical influence.

Translation:
Allah(God, Lord)... There is no god except Him, the eternally Living, Existing One. Neither sleep nor slumber will befall him. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and on the Earth.
Who will intercede before Him, except according to His will!? He knows what has been and what will be. No one is able to comprehend even a particle of His knowledge, except by His will. Heaven and Earth are embraced by the Kursiy (Great Throne) Him, and not
His concern for them bothers him[About everything that is in our galactic system]. He is the Supreme[in all respects, above everything and everyone],
Great[His greatness has no boundaries]!” (see, Holy Koran, sura “al-Baqarah”, verse 255 (2:255)).

As the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, this is the greatest of the Quranic verses, because it contains evidence of monotheism, as well as the greatness and limitlessness of the qualities of the Almighty Creator.
In this verse, in words accessible to human understanding, the Lord tells people about Himself and His incomparability with any objects and essences of the world He created. This verse truly has glorious and delightful meanings and deserves to be called the greatest of the Quranic verses. And if a person reads it, reflecting on its meaning and comprehending its meaning, then his heart is filled with conviction, knowledge and faith, thanks to which he protects himself from the evil machinations of Satan.

“The Throne” (“al-kursi”) is one of the greatest creations of the Creator. The Messenger of Allah said: “The seven heavens (Earth and heaven) compared to the foot of the Throne are like a ring thrown in the desert, and the superiority of the Throne over its foot is like the superiority of this desert over this ring.” No one can imagine the “throne” in a worthy way except Allah Almighty. The quoted words of the verse “Al-Kursi” should not be interpreted in a literal sense. Allah cannot be limited by any space, does not need any “al-kursi” (throne, chair) or “al-‘arsh” (throne).

Ayat “Al-Kursi” in its meaning and significance is equal to one quarter of the entire Holy Quran. Ali, the successor of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), spoke about the power of its action: “I cannot understand those Muslims who do not read the verse “Al-Kursi” before going to bed. If you knew how great this verse is, you would never neglect to read it, because it was given to your Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him, from the treasuries of al-‘Arsh. The verse “Al-Kursi” was not given to any of the prophets before Muhammad (God bless them). And I never spend a night without reading the verse of Al-Kursi three times [before going to bed].”

The Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever reads the verse “Al-Kursi” after prayer-namaz will be under the protection of Allah Almighty until the next prayer.” “Whoever reads the verse Al-Kursi after prayer, [if he dies] nothing will prevent him from entering Paradise.”

The importance of the verse Al-Kursi

It is reported that one day, Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, while guarding the collected zakat, caught a thief who said to him: “Let me go, and I will teach you such words that Allah will make useful for you!” Abu Hurayrah asked: “What are these words?” He said: “When you go to bed, read “Ayat al-Kursi” from beginning to end, and a guardian from Allah will always be with you, and Satan will not be able to approach you until the morning!” After this, Abu Hurayrah told the Prophet about this, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: “He really told you the truth, despite the fact that he is a notorious liar!” After which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, told Abu Hurayrah that it was the Shaitan himself in the form of a man (Al-Bukhari “Sahih” 2311).

Ubay ibn Ka'b said: “Once the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, asked me: “O Abul-Munzir, do you know which verse from the Book of Allah is the greatest?” I said: “This is the verse that says: Allah - there is no deity worthy of worship except Him, the Living, the Almighty...“(verse al-Kursi) After this, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, slapped me on the chest and said: “May you be happy in knowledge, O Abul-Munzir!”" (Muslim “Sahih” 810).

« In the name of God, whose mercy is eternal and limitless. I swear by the era [century]. Verily, man is at a loss, except for those who believed, did good deeds, commanded each other the truth [helped to preserve and strengthen the faith] and commanded each other patience [in submission to God, removing themselves from sin]».

« In the name of God, whose mercy is eternal and limitless. The punishment [of Hell awaits] every slanderer who seeks out the shortcomings of others, who [among other things] accumulates wealth and [constantly] counts it [thinking that it will help him in trouble]. He thinks that wealth will immortalize him [make him immortal]?! No! He will be thrown into al-khutoma. Do you know what “al-khutoma” is? This is the kindled fire of the Lord [hell fire], which reaches the hearts [gradually burning them and bringing them incomparable pain]. The gates of Hell are closed, and there are bolts on them [that will never allow them to open].

Several semantic translations are possible: “I swear by the time interval that begins after the sun moves from its zenith and continues until sunset”; "I swear by the afternoon prayer."

That is, the slanderers thrown into “al-hutoma” will lose all hope of liberation, the gates of Hell will be tightly closed in front of them.

The Quranic sura tells about a historical event that occurred in the year of birth of the last messenger of the Lord Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and became a sign for people who understand.

By this time, the ancient temple of Monotheism, the Kaaba, restored by the prophet Abraham (see: Holy Koran, 22:26, 29), was again turned by the Arabs into the main temple of their pagan pantheon. Mecca became the center of paganism, attracting pilgrims from all over the Arab East. This caused discontent among the rulers of neighboring states. Then the ruler of Yemen, Abraha, in order to attract pilgrims, built a new temple, striking in its luxury and beauty. But the religious building was never able to become a center of pilgrimage for nomads, who still recognized only Mecca as such.

One day, a certain pagan Bedouin, demonstrating his disrespect for a Yemeni temple, desecrated it. Upon learning of this, Abraha vowed to wipe the Kaaba from the face of the earth.

In the army he equipped there were eight (according to other sources - twelve) elephants, which were supposed to destroy the Kaaba.

Approaching Mecca, Abraha's army set up a rest camp. The camels grazing in the vicinity immediately became prey for the Yemenis. Among them were two hundred camels that belonged to one of the most respected people of Mecca, ‘Abdul-Muttalib (grandfather of the future Prophet).

Meanwhile, Abraha ordered the most respected Meccan to be brought to him. Residents pointed to ‘Abdul-Muttalib, who went to negotiate with Abraha. The dignity and nobility of ‘Abdul-Muttalib immediately inspired the ruler of Yemen to respect him, and he invited the Meccan to sit next to him. “Do you have any request for me?” – asked Abraha. “Yes,” replied ‘Abdul-Muttalib. “I want to ask you to return my camels, which your soldiers took away.” Abraha was surprised: “Seeing your noble face and courage, I sat down next to you. But after hearing you, I realized that you are a cowardly and selfish person. While I came with the intention of wiping your shrine from the face of the earth, are you asking for some camels?!” “But I am only the owner of my camels, and the owner of the temple is the Lord Himself, He will preserve it...” was the answer. Having taken his herd, ‘Abdul-Muttalib returned to the city, abandoned by the inhabitants who did not have the opportunity to resist the huge army. Together with the people accompanying him, ‘Abdul-Muttalib prayed for a long time at the threshold of the Kaaba, offering a prayer for the salvation and preservation of the Lord’s temple, after which they left Mecca.

When Abrakha's troops attempted to storm the city, a miraculous sign occurred: a flock of birds appeared and pelted the army with stones made of burnt clay. Abraha's army was destroyed. Defenseless Mecca and Kaaba were saved, because according to the Lord's plan they were destined for a different fate.
